Mark started his working life with his family’s residential building company, Alan Sheppard and Medallion Homes, a name very well known in Adelaide.  For five years he combined his role as a building supervisor and estimator with a highly successful swimming career. He represented his country on many occasions including being a medalistat the the Oceania Championships in Neumea and Australian Championships whilst being a traing partner of Keiren Perkins for 4 years in Queensland . Mark also won many ocean races including 3 time winner of the  Henley to Grange Long Swim for which he still hold the record for the fastest time. He represented Queensland and South Australia many times 

The real estate phase started some time ago now and his desire to be sucessful was relised early when he was named rookie of the year with one of Adelaides lager real estate groups. Always looking to improve himself and his ability to provide his clients with the best facilities available saw him move to what was then known as Brock Partners. With almost 10 years experience in residential sales and being a consistent award winning member of the “Brock Team” the next challenge was obvious in owning his own Brock Harcourts business.

During the past 2 years Mark has opened and owns both the Flinders Park and Mile End offices. Both offices have become dominant players within the western suburbs and metropolitian area. These offices are extremely system orientated and live by the Brock Harcourts Values, People First, Doing the Right Thing, Fun and Laughter and being Couragous. 

Mark possesses a real quality of ‘reading’ and understanding people, he has rapidly positioned himself as a top Auctioneer and negotiator.
